On August 16, 2025, Anchor Bay Community Foundation attended the 1st Annual Justin Mello Memorial Ride.

Our newest event, “May the 4th Be With You” occurred in 2025. Stormtroopers roamed the streets of New Baltimore and visited the local hosting establishments. The cast of characters came to the New Baltimore Civic Club to get out of the weather, enjoy pizza and beverages, and participate in a raffle. Princess Leia, Obi-Wan Kenobi, C-3PO, and Yoda hosted a great gift basket raffle. All the proceeds went to our unrestricted funds to provide grants for those in the greater Anchor Bay community. Watch for a fun 2026 event and join us. The Force is always with you.

In 2025, the first recipient, Ian, of the Carlos Alvarez/IMPETUS FOUNDATION Scholarship traveled to Paris. The Foundation is working on expanding the program.
